ANTALYA, Türkiye — 8 October 2026 — STAR.VISION today introduced Emergency007, an intelligent platform designed to revolutionize natural disaster response. The platform was launched at the 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2026), where the public announcement was a resounding success, quickly drawing the attention of delegates from numerous countries as well as representatives from the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
How is Emergency007 different?
Emergency007 stands out by integrating satellite imagery, weather data, and ground-based observations into a unified view. While conventional emergency tracking systems use AI to detect and assess risks, Emergency007 goes a step further by continuously tracking the situation and performing risk analysis as the event develops. Crucially, data suggests that the majority of damage often occurs not at the onset of a disaster, but after the initial alert, due to unprepared responses to rapidly compounding situations. Therefore, Emergency007’s continuous tracking mechanism helps predict damage trajectories and alleviate risks even after the initial alert is generated.
How does the tracking system work?
When an emergency event is detected, the platform's Action Center connects directly to satellite orbits and observation resources. It automatically translates the assessment into a satellite task order, commanding a satellite to revisit the affected area and maintain surveillance. Detection, assessment, tasking, and follow-up operate within one continuous loop.
How will Emergency007 make an impact?
In conventional disaster response, information is often scattered across agencies, and securing satellite imagery can take longer than the event itself takes to unfold. Emergency007 is built to close that gap between seeing and acting—marking the latest step in STAR.VISION's pursuit of improving life on Earth from space.
