Strategic Partnership Signed to Advance Indonesia’s 1st Hyperspectral Satellite Lampung-1

HAIYANG, China, May 28 – The Lampung-1 hyperspectral satellite project reached a critical milestone today with the official signing of a strategic partnership agreement between STAR.VISION, Oriental Spaceport, and Indonesia's Lampung Province. 

This collaboration goes beyond hyperspectral remote sensing to include advanced applications such as onboard artificial intelligence and orbital supercomputing. 

Together, the partners aim to build an integrated space-based intelligence platform supporting agriculture, maritime monitoring, environmental management, and more.

By combining satellite data with cutting-edge space computing capabilities, this partnership will accelerate Indonesia’s digital transformation and sustainable development.

Seventy years after the historic Bandung Conference, this partnership embodies the spirit of Bandung once again—this time extending cooperation and innovation into space.
