On March 25, 2025, STAR.VISION officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), marking the beginning of a deeper and more pragmatic strategic partnership.
The STAR.VISION team held in-depth discussions with Professor Vincent Wan, Head of the Department of Aeronautical and Aviation Engineering at PolyU, and his delegation. Both parties reached consensus on multiple cooperation initiatives, including joint satellite technology development, co-building of AI laboratories, policy advocacy, and talent cultivation. Future collaboration will focus on comprehensive efforts in frequency resource application, ground station construction, and other key areas.
Additionally, the two parties agreed to establish a joint AI algorithm laboratory and a research center, aiming to promote industry-academia-research integration and collaborative talent development to support the construction of a robust aerospace talent ecosystem.
Both parties expressed their commitment to deepening cooperation, exploring new models in the aerospace industry, and advancing space computing technology on a global scale. The Department of Aeronautical and Aviation Engineering at PolyU has long focused on satellite development and GNSS navigation technology, working toward building an autonomous navigation constellation and driving the commercialization of aerospace technologies.
